Coquette Christmas cards with vintage-style labels and festive repeating patterns in green, pink, and cream.

Handwritten Christmas cards are one of those small things that people really do hold on to. THe cost starts to add up when you’re trying to send all your loved ones cards.

To make things easier for you, I’ve designed six sets of free printable Christmas cards in very different styles, from boho, minimalist to coquette aesthetics. Together that’s 38 free printable Christmas cards. Each set is a single PDF you can download and print at home.

How to Print Your Christmas Cards at Home

Each PDF has one card per page. Here’s how to print and fold the card

  • The cards are designed for US Letter paper, but you can print them on A4 paper as well
  • Use heavier paper, preferably cardstock, so the cards are durable
  • Set the scale to “Fit” so that the card fits any paper size you have OR set it to 100%, no scale or “Actual size” if you strictly want 5×7″ cards
  • After printing, look for the dotted lines on each sheet, which are your cutting guides
  • Use scissors or a paper trimmer to carefully cut along the dotted lines
  • Fold the card where it is marked “fold”, so the front and back line up

Pick the style that suits you, or download a few and mix them up. Each button below downloads the full set for that theme.

1. Boho Rainbow Christmas Cards

These are my take on the boho trend, with rainbow arches in warm neutrals, sage and dusty blue, each framing a little Christmas tree. The set has 6 cards with messages like “Holiday Cheer”, “Comfort and Joy”, “Holly Jolly” and “Warmest Wishes”, so you can choose the one that suits each person.

2. Colorful Minimalist Christmas Cards

If you want something bright and simple, this set has one flat illustration per card with “Merry Christmas” in bold red underneath. You get a Christmas tree, Santa hat, candy cane, ornament, stocking and gift, each on its own background color in pink, gold and red. There are 6 cards in the set.

3. Coquette Christmas Cards

This is the biggest set, with 8 cards. Tiny trees, bows and baubles repeat across four color schemes (forest green, dusty pink, cream and red), with “Merry Christmas” on a vintage-style label in the center. Each pattern comes in two label styles, so you can pick whichever you like best.

4. Black and White Script Christmas Cards

For a more elegant look, these cards pair flowing script lettering with scattered black dots, like confetti. There are three messages, “Festive Joy”, “Merry & Bright” and “Warmth & Happiness”, each in two layouts, which makes 6 cards. They are also very printer friendly, since they only use black ink.

5. Block Letter Christmas Cards

These are the boldest of the bunch. “Merry Christmas” is spelled out in chunky rounded tiles with a slightly worn, distressed texture, in six festive color combinations of reds, forest green and mustard. It’s a good pick if you like a modern, graphic style.

6. Retro Santa Christmas Cards

A vintage Santa with a red hat sits in the middle of a sunburst of black rays, with groovy lettering underneath. The 6 cards say “Jolly Vibes”, “Sleigh All Day”, “Festive Fun”, “Merry & Bright”, “Santa Baby” and “Jingle Bells”, so they are fun to send to friends who like a bit of humor.
