Brush fonts are a type of font designed to mimic the texture and style of hand-painted or handwritten brush strokes. They can be created using digital tools or by digitizing handwritten brush lettering. I love these fonts precisely because they are imprecise. They have texture and ‘imperfections’ that make them a fun addition to social media posts or other designs that need an element of playfulness. The brush fonts I’ll be sharing today range from grungy (great for posters and t-shirt designs) to more elegant script fonts, which are suitable for invitations and packaging.
